DEVONSHIRE DELIGHTS

This week we have been creating enchantment at one of our super favorite venues, Devonshire Gardens. We loved decorating this sumptuous venue with herb and mixed rose table arrangements, lush stairwell decorations, mirrored glass centre pieces with herb and rose filled votives and candles and beautifully designed mantle designs with flowing ruscus and coffee break and juliet roses.

We have been designing some beautiful weekly contracts for our loyal business customers. We love pushing the barriers each week to deliver new and interesting concepts for our customers.

Our shop is full of new and exciting treats. Lovely posie filled tea lights full of lovely flowers and herbs. Unusual potted plants and our usual diverse array of potted plants to choose from along with an interesting array of pots to choose from.

At the end of the day we love to sit outside in the sunshine with a hard earned cup of tea and enjoy the buzz of the Hyndland Road community.

CRYSTAL CHIQUE

THIS WEEK RUBY FLOWERS LOVES........

Botanical drawings which have inspired our new exquisitely framed butterflies, a must have as a truly unique gift.


Hello from our fish who have been enjoying a new batch of weed to compliment their lovely flowery surroundings. Also a big thanks to one of our loyal customers who kindly donated a huge supply of fish food to keep us going.

Keep watching our board every day outside the shop as we like to keep you up to date with new editions and the treat of the week. We are particularly excited about our vintage crystal candelabras which I have been restoring and are ready to be snatched up as a beautiful romantic focal point to any room, especially next to a bunch of irresistible cool water and sweet avalanche roses!

Other particularly lovely things in the shop this week include lovely scented hot pink wax flower. Trailing ivy plants and our lovely weekly hanging door piece invite you into our studio this week where we have been working with some beautiful flowers and creating a new window display to feed our insatiable appetite for design and new ideas.

Our treat of week has to be some amazing vintage pastel pink, grey and moss coloured hydrangea heads. We agree they should be named rhubarb and custard! We have engineered a new paper white section which sets of our candelabra a treat.

Outside we have delicious begonia plants and pretty scented herb posies to add to our ever evolving selection of goodies.

Exemplary Elegance

Our portfolio this week includes a fabulous wedding held at the University Chapel and Brig-adoon. We created lush candelabra centre pieces from avalanche roses, sweet scented stock, pastel eucolyptus and ruscus. This look was carried through to two large arrangements at the foot of the staircase. We scattered crystals around the base of the candelabras as a beautiful finishing detail.

We have also been playing with some beautiful designs to be featured in the Best Scottish Weddings publication. These stunning bridal bouquets were finished off with some beautiful pins sourced by Ruby for the shop. Please come in and ask about these lovely individual finishing touches to make your wedding even more special.

Our vision in the shop this week are bold reds and romantic posies. Our lovely weekly door wreath welcomes you to our striking selection of reds which consist of vibrant potted celosia plants and adorable mini rose plants. Inside you will be greeted by a wall of blazing colour. Red anthuriums, trailing amaranthus, coffee break roses and amazing zingy cala lillies.



We are also loving our pretty heather plants and romantic golden lanterns which would make a great glowing table centre piece and add an amazing warm ambiance to a dinner party.
