New year - new flowers

We had the great pleasure of creating beautiful wedding flowers on the 29th December for Marie Murphy. The wedding was held at Culzean Castle followed by the reception at Turnberry Hotel, Ayrshire. The setting was truly stunning. The bride chose a classic hand-tied posy of ivory roses and spray roses and for her bridesmaids a chic posy containing red Grand Prix roses, thistles and berries - a perfect winter selection! The front entrance was decorated with lovely bay trees and large outdoor candle vases lined with ruscus. Lush vases of lilies, roses, berries and glossy foliage filled the windows in the ceremony hall.

The table flowers were gorgeous candelabras filled with ivory roses, thistles, berries, lilies and ivy - lush and really made the room have a wonderful warm glow of candles. The cake table was simply decorated with scattered rose petals and candles.

Come in past the shop and see some of the beautiful new seasonal flowers we have in - we have been getting gorgeous hyacinths, freesia, tulips and anemones in beautiful bright and tutti fruitti colours. Treat yourself to a little taste of spring! We also have potted bulbs galore -Crocus', Muscari, Tete-a-Tete and Hyacinths, a perfect way to look forward to the warmer and lighter days!
We have a real love of orchids at the moment and have a stunning selection of Phalaenopsis, Vanda and Cymbidium orchids, in mini, planted and cut-stem varieties - so exotic and fresh.
We are looking forward to the exciting and busy times ahead with Valentines day not long away now. There will be a fantastic selection of romantic flowers, traditional reds and the more unique and bespoke combinations to suit your loved ones' style and preference. Come in or phone and chat to the Ruby Flowers team, we will be able to guide you in the right direction even if you dont yet know what you are looking for. Wear your heart on your sleeve and be a true romantic, we are here to help.
Much love x
